A Family business since the 1960’s, I joined my father in learning the fine art of wood floor restoration. While Dad continued to work with me, I took over the business of providing the best floor finishing service in the area in 1989. He was a man of the generation who had a strong work ethic and he finally retired completely at the age of 83.

The business has grown and I have had the privilege of serving over 3500 customers in the beautiful counties of Dutchess, Greene, Berkshire & Columbia. Hardwood flooring has become our love as together with the expertise of my right hand man, Mike, and former finisher, Howie, we have developed relationships with many homeowners who know we are a business with integrity, honesty and professionalism. We are now a crew of two with 35 years experience of floor finishing. I also have many years of experience as a journeyman roofer and home builder. Most likely I have worked in your neighborhood at some time.

Materials and products change with time and we experience & learn continually about new flooring and finishes which provide the most beautiful results with minimal or no environmental impact.
